Re-Employment Services

Lifetrack becomes the second certified Dislocated Worker Program in Rochester, increasing resources for residents throughout Olmsted County.

The Minnesota Job Skills Partnership Board and the state’s Department of Employment and Economic Development named Lifetrack a certified Dislocated Worker Program provider for Olmsted County. This certification allows Lifetrack to bring its re-employment expertise and programming to Olmsted County-area workers dislocated through layoffs and business closings, so they can find their next employment opportunity.

Lifetrack has nearly 70 years of experience helping people develop meaningful employment skills, and is the state’s largest provider of refugee employment services. The organization is an established leader in employment placement and retention services, serving a diverse population of job seekers with complex and varied barriers across a broad range of skills, education and workforce experience.

“Our strength is building cross-cultural, statewide partnerships and collaborations, including a long-standing partnership with Intercultural Mutual Assistance Association in Rochester. Our new office in Rochester will bring a significantly expanded capacity for Olmsted County, to help dislocated workers in the area with their re-employment journey,” said TrixieAnn Girtz Golberg, Lifetrack’s president.

Lifetrack delivers services throughout the Twin Cities, and in the past several years has increased service options for workers seeking re-employment throughout the state. Lifetrack is the only provider of re-employment services who has a unique workplace education program, LifeBalance Solutions, which provides webinars and seminars in the workplace about work, life, family and wellness topics. In addition, the organization’s business services team collaborates with hundreds of businesses in the state to match employer needs with a worker’s skills and interests.

To serve Olmsted County residents, Lifetrack will open a new office at 2500 Valley High Drive NW in Rochester. For more information about accessing services, contact Kelly Roemer at (507) 289-5960, ext. 112 or Tatjana Hutnyak at (651) 265-2397.
