Minneapolis Partner of the Year
Minneapolis Partner of the Year

Each year, the City of Minneapolis Employment and Training and the Minneapolis Workforce Council present awards to agencies that have provided outstanding employment services to Minneapolis youth and adults.

This year, the City of Minneapolis gave Lifetrack the Adult Service Provider of the Year Award for our work in the Train-to-Career program

Lifetrack has gotten a consistent "A" grade from the City of Minneapolis for this program by raising the bar on its performance goals every quarter. It is the only program of its kind funded through Minneapolis to consistently recieve an A rating from the City. The rating critiera is based on the number of clients enrolled, the number of clients who complete their training and the number of clients who are placed into living-wage jobs.

Lifetrack's Train-to-Career program serves Minneapolis residents who are looking to begin a new career in a high-growth industry. It serves job-seekers by offering scholarships for short-term industry trainings, job-specific skills training, and job placement support.

On December 1, 2015, there was a presentation and Partner of the Year reception offered by the City of Minneapolis. There to accept the award was Lifetrack staff Liberty Mickelson, Andrew Koch and Trixie Golberg (pictured below).
