Lifetrack partners with organizations that provide hard skill training and certifications while providing soft skill development and helping individuals find and retain jobs.
In 2016, Lifetrack placed 114 individuals into full-time employment, at an average wage of $27, 414. 79% retained their jobs for 12 months.
In 2016, more than half (56%) of the clients served by our Employment Services Programs were women, 14% of whom were just entering the workforce (ages 18-23). They want higher wage jobs that will lift them out of poverty and enable them to sustain and stabilize their families. While we have offered pathways into traditionally female work tracks, such as nursing, many of the women we serve have expressed an interest in areas that have been male-dominated, such as trucking and construction, because these jobs pay higher wages. This program is designed to specifically address the needs of women entering non-traditional work environments. In 2016, we placed 73% of women who sought such work in non-traditional jobs, at an average wage of $13,18 an hour. More than two thirds (68%) retained those jobs for 12 months.
